Meet Garrett Gerhart.

As our first Practitioner in Residence, Garrett’s focus will be on facilitating meaningful conversations about the way theory and practice merge in our digital lives—both inside and outside the Church. One of his goals is to help churches move from “which tool?” to “which is the wisest use of this particular tool in this particular situation to fulfill this particular communication function of the church’s mission in the world? Toward these ends, Garrett will produce regular (video) devotionals, share resources, and make himself available for consultation. You can reach Garrett at: garrett.gerhart@gmail.com

He has also produced numerous online platforms, including: the faith&whatever podcast and youtube channel, and the from the hart vlog series. In 2017 he completed an MA in Communication from Spring Arbor University. During this program his research was intently focused on the future of church communication, specifically the church in the digital space.

Garrett is also the founder of third millennium church, a non-profit online resource center offering consultation and content designed to help churches connect with the next generation of church members and leaders.
