On behalf of the CCSN and Kristos Logos Paideia–our global undergraduate honor society for Christian communication scholars–I am please to welcome the addition of Dr. Kim Okesson as co-director of KLP. Kim joins current and founding director Brandon Knight, William Carey University, in helping to shepherd and grow this new honor society for Christian undergraduate students.
 Dr. Okesson (PhD, Regent University) is Assistant Professor of Communication in the School of Communication Arts at Asbury University. She is also the Director of Asbury University’s Cross-Cultural Engagement program. Prior to coming to Asbury, Professor Okesson lived and worked for 13 years in three countries outside of her passport country: Kenya, Tanzania, and England. Her areas of research include identity formation, immigration, intercultural communication, and international communication. How students engage with cultural differences and equipping students to work in a globalized world are of particular concern to her. Dr. Okesson is also a co-editor for the Kentucky Communication Association Journal. Her doctoral dissertation focused on intercultural communication issues on Christian college campuses.
