About the Author
Chris Hamstra is an Associate Professor of Communication at Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is two-time Fulbright Specialist with experiences in Iceland (2019) and Greece (2023). Chris began his communication career in radio and television and reported from several events like the 2002 Winter Olympics (Salt Lake City) and the NCAA Men’s Final Four (Minneapolis and Atlanta). He continues to live in West Michigan with his wife Dawnette.
