The Communication Division invites applications for an entry-level tenure-track appointment in Communication with a specialty in Organizational Communication. The successful candidate will teach courses in organizational communication theory, training and development, and organizational communication analysis. The successful candidate will also teach in one or more specialty areas such as conflict management, social entrepreneurship and/or non-profit communication, sustainability, intercultural communication, and new technologies. The opportunity to teach courses in the Communication Division’s strategic communication master’s degree is also a possibility. An emphasis on innovative teaching is highly desirable, as is skill at assessment, curriculum development and service learning/community based research. An established research record and professional experience are also highly desired. A Ph.D. is also required.
