Hello everyone!
My name is Lakelyn E. Taylor (she/her/ella) and I am a PhD student at the University of Central Florida. I am passionate about studying religious communication in risk and crisis situations. Therefore, I am conducting research for my dissertation to learn more about how Protestant Christians think about and define the terms “risk” and “crisis.” I want to explore how Christian beliefs and religious practices may influence Christians’ perspectives on natural disasters and natural disaster responses.
It would be great to have your help on this! So, I would like to ask you to take the following online Qualtrics which is linked below and can be taken on your personal laptop, cell phone, or other electronic device. You will be asked a series of open-ended and closed-ended questions about your Christian beliefs and practices as well as your experience and perceptions about natural disasters and responses. This online survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
To participate, you must be 18 years of age or older, live in the United States, and identify as a Protestant Christian. This survey is completely voluntary and you are free to withdraw at any time with no penalty to you.
