Description: Join us for a brief presentation by Katye Freeman, winner of Kristos Logos Paideia Honor Society’s 2025-26 Essay Competition for her outstanding research paper, “The Prophetic Poet and Performative Epideictic Rhetoric.” This year’s award recipient’s analysis of Jackie Hill Perry’s rhetoric and its interaction with the evangelical landscape of 2020-2021 is a compelling and timely contribution to the field. About the presenter: Katye Freeman is a senior at William Carey University majoring in Intercultural Studies & Communications & minoring in Biology. As a follower of Christ, she plans to use her gifts of writing and cultural studies to reach the nations with his love alongside her soon to be husband, Ben Hagen.
