The Communication Division invites applications for one-year Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor in communication. An M.A. degree in Communication or similar field is mandatory, while a Ph.D. is preferred. Responsibilities may include teaching courses primarily in rhetoric and persuasion, communication theory, communication research and intercultural communication. The candidate should be experienced in debate and able to lead/co-lead Pepperdine’s British Parliamentary and/or NDT/CEDA debate squad. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the University’s Christian mission. Review of applicants will begin March 1, 2015 and will continue until the position is filled.
